New Products and Awards Recognition
Ocean Insight has boosted its line of spectrometers with the addition of new high-performance models and is pleased to highlight the 2023 Prism Award-nominated SpeedSorter, an industrial sensing system for metal recycling.
New CCD-array spectrometers combine high resolution, high speed spectral acquisition and excellent signal-to-noise ratio performance to meet UV, visible and NIR application needs. Strong thermal wavelength stability and low stray light performance ensure reliable, reproducible results, even in challenging industrial environments.
The SpeedSorter is a LIBS-based system for in-line, nonferrous metal scrap sorting in industrial environments. The system is nominated for a 2023 Prism Award, which celebrates the best of photonics. Winners will be announced at an awards reception and dinner on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at 6 p.m. at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.
Ocean Insight Young Investigator Award
We are pleased to again support the work of the brightest young minds in photonics through our sponsorship of the Ocean Insight Young Investigator Award – Colloidal Nanocrystals for Biomedical Applications.
This is the 15th year we have sponsored the award! Winners will be announced at a brief ceremony on Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at noon in Room 305 at the Moscone Center (Level 3 South).
